About

Newburgh Preservation Association

Newburgh Preservation Association (NPA) is dedicated to the promotion and protection of the architectural heritage and historic view sheds of Newburgh, New York.

We stand together to protect and facilitate the restoration and adaptive reuse of Newburgh’s existing historical structures. We recognize the significant challenges of preservation and we are dedicated to help others preserve the historical fabric of our city by the Hudson. We will collaborate with others to make Newburgh the premier historical attraction in the region, further invigorating the city’s economy and educating the public to the significant value of preservation. The NPA is a 501 C3 membership organization, founded in 1978.

Consider joining our organization and becoming active in our efforts to re-constitute Newburgh as one of the jewels of the Hudson River Valley through the preservation of its historic buildings, streets and parks. With so many historic treasures, the more people who are involved, the faster we can achieve our vision.
